1954: Born in Kap­sogut vil­lage, Jeri­cho County.

1961: He went to Kap­sogut Pri­mary School, then Litein Boys for his O-lev­els and later Ch­e­samis High School for his A-lev­els.

1974: Univer­sity of Nairobi, grad­u­ated with a Bach­e­lor of Arts de­gree in Po­lit­i­cal Science in 1976. He also holds an MBA de­gree from the same univer­sity.

1976: He joined the Public Ser­vice as District Of­fi­cer, start­ing off in Molo and Cen­tral Province un­til 1986.

1987: Pro­moted Deputy Provin­cial Administrator.

1997: Was ap­pointed Per­ma­nent Sec­re­tary in the Ministry of State for Provin­cial Ad­min­is­tra­tion and In­ter­nal Se­cu­rity.

2007: Elected Kuresoi MP on ODM ticket.

2013: Elected Kuresoi South on URP ticket.
