Kisumu KCSE exams delivered in torn carton box, Kipsang says no cheating
Education PS Belio Kipsang has downplayed the delivery of some KCSE exam papers in a torn carton box to a collection centre in Kisumu.
He made an impromptu visit to Ahero Girls Secondary School yesterday. Kipsang said the papers were not interfered with.
The exam box marked KCSE 15/11 was delivered to Kisumu Town B centre on Sunday.
Kipsang urged education stakeholders to avoid speculation and wait for a comprehensive report.
“The exams were never interfered with. The press has been invited to witness the opening today,” he said.
Kipsang assured Kenyans of tight security during this year’s exams.
“The government has put in place measures to curb any exam malpractices,” he said.
