NMG wants Galava case thrown out of the High Court

The Na­tion Me­dia Group has asked the High Court to dis­miss a case filed against it by sacked editor Den­nis Galava (pic­tured), deny­ing it vi­o­lated his rights.

The group yes­ter­day said Galava’s ac­cu­sa­tions are ma­li­cious and should not be en­ter­tained. Galava filed two suits: one be­fore the Con­sti­tu­tional court and an­other be­fore the Labour court. It said the case does not dis­close any con­sti­tu­tional vi­o­la­tions as al­leged and if there were is­sues, they can be pre­sented toe the Labour court, where he filed a case for un­law­ful ter­mi­na­tion.
