GAVE COUNTY 14-DAY ULTIMATUM
In August, contractors and suppliers gave the Migori county government and Governor Okoth Obado 14 days to pay Sh800 million for completed projects. The Migori County Contractors’ Association wrote to Rusana, county commissioner Idd Matata and county commander David Kirui. The amount had accrued for three financial years. The contractors demanded a list of the payments made during that period. “Those suffering the most are the ones who do not have godfathers,” association chairman Otieno said.
