Bigger gory images on cigarette packs help end smoking

The Star (Kenya) - - Voices -

The plan by the ministry of Health to use bigger images showing tobacco’s harmful effects on various body organs will go a long way in initiating positive behavioural change among smokers. Although the change might be gradual, especially for those who are already addicted, it will eventually make more people to quit smoking and discourage those who want to pick up the smoking habit. The bigger the pictures on cigarette packs, the more effective they will be in creating awareness of the harm cigarettes cause.
