BY SAMSON ATEKA/ Kenya Table Tennis Association have entered a long-term partnership their England counterparts to help develop comprehensive structures locally by sharing experience on governance, talent development and coaching expertise.

Table Tennis England chief executive, Sara Sutcliffe, who recently ran a workshop at Nairobi’s Goan Gymkhana, said Kenya can go places with proper strategic planning.

Sutcliffe, who was accompanied by Zimbabwe-born UK Sport Council official Dr. Elias Musangeya, said this during the one-day KTTA Conference in Nairobi.

She said the essence of the partnership is to exchange ideas on how TT England executed their transformation in 2013/2014 campaign.

“We have a long term plan with KTTA and this will see us hold several exchange programmes on technical matters. This includes bringing in qualified technical officials to train coaches in Kenya,” she added.
