Students can be their own bosses, not job-hunters

The Star (Kenya) - - Voices -

Most students in this generation go to school with an aim of being employed by an individual or a company. This mindset should be changed since not all those who have a degree will get an employment opportunity. Training institutions should impart ideas to them so that they can be their own bosses and work independently. By doing so, they’ll get a chance to employ other people, reducing the rate of unemployment in our country. The slogan should be, for example, “Education for knowledge and innovation”. Students should be brought to this reality.
