CS’s exam rules were slammed but he was right

The Star (Kenya) - - Voices -

Education CS Fred Matiang’i was criticised by some stakeholders after he released guidelines to curb exam cheating. During that period, over 150 secondary schools were torched. However, he ought to be appreciated. This year’s national exams are being done with very few scandals. Any exam malpractice is being broughto to light with a lot of condemnation. However, if students cannot embrace integrity, we will have a crooked nation. This is a sector that should be supported and protected to ensure quality education.
