A Nairobi court will tomorrow visit a company whose two directors were charged with possessing uncustomed goods valued at more than Sh9.6 million.

Trial magistrate Joyce Gandani of Milimani said the court will visit Patiala Distillers Kenya Limited in Embakasi, Nairobi, to examine the products kept in the firm. The decision follows an application by defence lawyer Kiraithe Wandungi , who wanted the site visited before the December 15 hearing of the case.

Directors Francis Kiambi and Mary Waigwe Muthoni, are jointly charged that on October 18 at Salford Godowns in their firm, they were found in possession of 50 litres of extra neutral spirit whose dutiable value is Sh10,150,000.

According to the police, the accused used a vehicle, registration number KBR 554H/ZD8522, a Mercedes Axor truck, to transport the goods.
