200,000 IN KILIFI AT RISK – AUTHORITY
The Garissa, Isiolo, Kajiado, Lamu, Makueni, Marsabit, Narok and Samburu counties are some of the hard-hit areas. Livestock are dying in some areas. According to NDMA, the Kilifi, Kinango in Kwale and Lamu West subcounties have the severest vegetation deficit. The authority said 200,000 people are at risk in the Ganze, Kaloleni and Magarini subcounties, Kilifi.
