MP calls for better security in churches and mosques

Churches, mosques and other places of worship should be protected from attacks, Kisauni MP Rashid Bedzimba has said. He said even though security in Mombasa, especially in Kisauni, has improved in the last few months, places of worship need more police security. The MP said there has been a wave of crime in the area, but the good working relationship between the police, community and the local leaders has reduced it. Bedzimba met Mombasa church leaders at the Praise Chapel International in Kizingo on Friday. He said security is vital everywhere.
