Mwilu says those in Sh8m theft case will be arrested
Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu yesterday said those found guilty of transferring Sh8 million from the Court Admiralty account will be charged. Mwilu said investigations into the Sh8 million loss have started. Mwilu addressed journalists in Mombasa during a workshop on corruption. “Once investigations are done, those found guilty of transferring the money will be arrested,” she said. A judge and a magistrate are being probed over the money that went missing from the account in 2012. It represented unpaid wages owed to the crew of a vessel sailing to Somalia.
