ANC heads to Kakamega, Bungoma this weekend to drum up support for Nasa
ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi heads to Western this weekend for a series of rallies to drum up support for his Nasa outfit.
He will be in Bungoma, the home-turf of Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula, on Saturday for a fundraiser at Lwandanyi Secondary School in Sirisia subcounty. On Sunday, he will attend a service at Mtingongo Friends Church in Malava, Kakamega.
Sabatia MP Alfred Agoi, a key ally of Mudavadi, said they will soon launch door-to-door campaigns to ensure many people register as voters. “We have heard that our people do not register as voters, but this is a lie. They use this as an excuse to tamper with the outcome of elections once they are aware they will not carry the day,” Agoi, who is in Malaysia on parliamentary business, told the Star on the phone.
