Risk professionals should form a formidable institution to cushion organisations in East African and their assets against internal and external risks, the Institute of Risk Management regional group chairperson Dorothy Maseke has said.

During the IRM’s annual conference, delegates were urged to pursue risk management qualifications to tackle future trends and raise competency in managing risks by organisations or individuals. “We seek to grow risk management talent from the bottom through various mentorship activities we have with the universities,” Maseke said.
