Principal injured in hit-and-run accident in Busia
Madibo Secondary School principal is fighting for his life at Busia County Referral Hospital after he was knocked down by a hit-and-run car on Tuesday while going to collect KCSE papers.
Hospital administrator Erick Wamalwa said principal Titus Magabi suffered fractures in both legs and head injuries when he was knocked down by a vehicle in a nit-and run accident a few metres from Nambale subcounty Education office.
Meanwhile, a Nambale Boys’ High School candidate sat his History exam in hospital where he was admitted on Monday night. Wamalwa said the student fell and dislocated his shoulder. “The candidate could not sit his exam in the morning, because he was drowsy after being taken to theatre,” he said.
