It was disservice to deny refugees chance to sit exam
Some 289 refugee candidates failed to sit this year’s KCSE and KCPE due to the ongoing repatriation. One hundred and sixty-nine of those were KCSE candidates. Most of the KCSE candidates who did not sit the exams were in the Hagadera camp (74), while in the Dagahaley camp, 61 KCPE candidates missed the exams. This was a disservice to the students, who, if they sat this exam, would have had a certificate to propel them to higher education heights and make change in their country.
