‘STRANGLED TO DEATH’
Murang’a county commissioner John Elungata, who issued a press statement after the body was found, said Solomon Mwangi, who went missing on November 6, was strangled to death. Investigations were handed over to the Homicide Unit of the Department of Criminal Investigations. Detectives visited Murang’a police station on November 15 to inspect a saloon car impounded by police. The car is suspected to have been used in the murder.
