Madaraka are Left Foot Div 1 champs

BY STAR COR­RE­SPON­DENT/ Madaraka United were crowned Divi­sion One cham­pi­ons of Left Foot league with a game to spare af­ter they wal­loped Con­sol­i­dated Bank 4-0 at the week­end.

United scored through Ke­nan Brian, Don­ald Duku, Jeff Ouko and Peter Ny­oike to seal top spot while Black Di­a­mond came sec­ond af­ter edg­ing out Green Zone Prop­erty 2-0.

Rapid Com­mu­ni­ca­tions ‘A’ have an up­per hand to fin­ish third in the cat­e­gory af­ter they beat clos­est chal­lengers West Ham United by a soli­tary goal at the same venue.

In other matches, Bethel FC lost 1-0 to Hurligham FC and NIC Bank lost 2-0 to Tin­to­ria Dry Clean­ers. In Divi­sion Two cat­e­gory, Rapid Com­mu­ni­ca­tions ‘B’ re­cov­ered to beat Toy­ota FC 2-0 while Strath­more forced a bar­ren draw against Dis­ci­ples.

In Divi­sion Four, Team Mafisi beat Jaf­fery’s 2-0 while in Divi­sion Five, EXP mo­men­tum won 2-0 against PKF, Vi­ta­m­bii Vi­ishe beat DGM Ma­trix 2-0 and Pun­jabi hit Cube Movers 2-0.
