A lobby associated with Jubilee Party has criticised the Supreme Court ruling nullifying President Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory.

The Young Professionals for UhuRuto yesterday said the decision was a populist judgment delivered without any basis. The group said the judges made the ruling because of pressure from NASA.

“There is no doubt the judges bought the threats by NASA and did not factor the law and facts,” patron Kefa Abongo said. He spoke in Bungoma. The group, however, said it welcomes the ruling. “As a network that organised Uhuru’s campaigns at the grassroots, we know he has enormous support,” Abongo said.
