The Global Digest (English) - - CHAPTER 4 -

This research paper specifies various standards and rules adopted by Christians. And then, the paper carries out the detail analysis on Christian freedom through the Bible texts follows by the explanation, particularly on the Adventist church background.

While the paper proposes the Christian freedom meanwhile it argues the need of understanding Christian morality, as well as, freedom bounded by Christian morality.

The development of Christian freedom is parallel to Christian moral. This morality also function as a controller to Christian’s extreme freedom, such as loosing self-control and indiscipline. And it mentioned such an extreme freedom will be dangerous without morals.

This paper also discusses about Christianity itself, to see differences of their perspective on churches’ positions and check how it is fit to modern days. The churches can contextualize to different cultures societies as modernization, such as a democracy system and human rights standard.

While the Christians are looking for the future salvation, an eternal freedom, also we need to consider present time practical things for day-to-day life. More or

the less the paper shows the world standard like United Nations' human rights norm

by analyzing the Christian’s freedom.

It also shows many other issues, such as social-politics, peace and security in the world. For example, the paper discusses the freedom in Asian context. Finally, the paper explains how the Christian freedom could be useful for

building the world’s common standard and norm of human beings. And tell the world what is real Christian freedom particularly such as an Adventist church’s view. At the same time, this paper show as it was useful for Adventist’s global ministry.
