The Cabinet has given initial approval for the request presented by Ministry of Interior to sign an agreement with the Indian Protector of Immigrants, with the aim of bringing Indian domestic workers to Kuwait, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.

They said the Cabinet asked Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to coordinate with the Fatwa and Legislatio­n Department at Ministry of Foreign Affairs before referring the agreement to the Cabinet for the final approval.

The sources explained that this step is part of the procedures taken to help the official domestic labor company succeed. Its operations will be launched towards the end of August 2017, as assured by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Anas Al-Saleh.
