The Euro­pean Union can levy eco­nomic sanc­tions on any­one caught at­tack­ing EU states’ com­puter net­works, EU foreign min­is­ters said on Mon­day, the bloc’s lat­est step to de­ter more at­tacks fol­low­ing in­ci­dents in Britain and France.
