La­bor min­is­ter con­tin­ues ex­e­cu­tion of in­te­grated so­cial safety net­work

Cab­i­net preps to form na­tional com­mit­tee

KUWAIT CITY, July 17: Based on di­rec­tives from His High­ness the Prime Min­is­ter Sheikh Jaber AlMubarak, Min­is­ter of So­cial Af­fairs and La­bor and State Min­is­ter for Eco­nomic Af­fairs Hind Al-Sabeeh has been steadily con­tin­u­ing the im­ple­men­ta­tion of the in­te­grated so­cial safety net­work, as the gov­ern­ment had pledged in front of the Par­lia­ment to carry out its ex­e­cu­tion, re­ports Al-Anba daily quot­ing sources.

They re­vealed that the pro­ce­dures taken by Min­is­ter Al-Sabeeh with the sup­port of the Cab­i­net re­sulted in in­creased num­ber of de­serv­ing in­di­vid­u­als par­tic­u­larly women re­ceiv­ing so­cial aid.

The sources in­di­cated that the Cab­i­net is also prepar­ing for the for­ma­tion of a na­tional com­mit­tee which will be re­spon­si­ble for al­lot­ting the gen­eral strate­gies for sci­en­tific re­searches, tech­nol­ogy and cre­ativ­ity.

Mean­while, the sources said the sec­ond re­port of the com­mit­tee for the restora­tion of re­voked cit­i­zen­ships will be ready by Oc­to­ber un­less the Cab­i­net asks the com­mit­tee to com­plete the re­port ear­lier.

They ex­plained that the Civil Ser­vice Com­mis­sion (CSC) has fin­ished mak­ing nec­es­sary ad­just­ments and prepar­ing con­di­tions for the teach­ers of Min­istry of Ed­u­ca­tion and Min­istry of Awqaf and Is­lamic Af­fairs. Both min­istries will be in­formed about the ad­just­ments and con­di­tions as soon as they are ap­proved by the CSC Coun­cil.
