Labor minister continues execution of integrated social safety network
Cabinet preps to form national committee
KUWAIT CITY, July 17: Based on directives from His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber AlMubarak, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and State Minister for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh has been steadily continuing the implementation of the integrated social safety network, as the government had pledged in front of the Parliament to carry out its execution, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.
They revealed that the procedures taken by Minister Al-Sabeeh with the support of the Cabinet resulted in increased number of deserving individuals particularly women receiving social aid.
The sources indicated that the Cabinet is also preparing for the formation of a national committee which will be responsible for allotting the general strategies for scientific researches, technology and creativity.
Meanwhile, the sources said the second report of the committee for the restoration of revoked citizenships will be ready by October unless the Cabinet asks the committee to complete the report earlier.
They explained that the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has finished making necessary adjustments and preparing conditions for the teachers of Ministry of Education and Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. Both ministries will be informed about the adjustments and conditions as soon as they are approved by the CSC Council.
