The Kuwait Gulf Oil Com­pany (KGOC) af­fil­i­ated to Kuwait Pe­tro­leum Cor­po­ra­tion (KPC) has agreed to sus­pend im­ple­men­ta­tion of the fin­ger­print at­ten­dance sys­tem on work­ers in the Khafji Joint Zone, re­ports Al-Sha­hed daily quot­ing in­formed sources.

They said the pro­posal to amend the cur­rent sys­tem of med­i­cal ser­vices for em­ploy­ees of Khafji Joint Zone was re­jected, and all ex­ist­ing med­i­cal ben­e­fits and health in­sur­ance en­joyed by work­ers and their fam­i­lies will be re­tained.

The sources ex­plained that the cir­cu­lar is­sued in June last year re­gard­ing amend­ment of the an­nual leave pol­icy was can­celed, so the work­ers are not en­ti­tled to carry over to the next year more than
