The Kuwaiti football suspension crisis recently turned towards a new positive curve according to news published by a Qatari newspaper, stating that the Qatari Football Federation took the initiative to persuade FIFA to adopt the new sports law proposed by the Kuwaiti government in an attempt to end the international ban imposed on Alazraq Football Team since October 2015, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Meanwhile, other news reports revealed that FIFA’s Executive Committee is seeking to amend the penalties bylaw to allow the suspended federation to join its teams (First, Olympics, Juniors and Seniors) under the flag of the International

Football Federation (officially and friendly).

This decision allows Kuwait to participate in international assemblies, similar to the International Olympic Committee to join other banned countries along with independent athletes under the Olympic Flag.
