Raids in Jleeb
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 28: The Central Emergency Team affiliated to the Office of Director General of Kuwait Municipality, with the cooperation of General Hygiene and Road Works Department of Farwaniya Municipality, launched a comprehensive field inspection campaign targeting make-shift markets in Jleeb AlShuyoukh area recently, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Deputy Head of the emergency team Meshal Al-Malik affirmed that the campaign was part of the plan to continue field campaigns by regulatory apparatuses in all governorates in order to remove everything that distorts the public appearance as well as to monitor and eliminate all negative aspects such as random, makeshift markets set up by street hawkers.
He revealed that the campaign, which lasted for seven continuous hours in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, resulted in the lifting of 4 truckloads of used clothes and food items that were deemed unfit for human consumption, as well as removal of 35 sheep corrals.
Al-Malik stressed that the aim of the field campaigns is to remove clear encroachments on state properties and eliminate all violations to the law related to hygiene and road works.
