5,000 applicants register in various specialities: PAAET
‘Process going on smoothly’
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: Dean of Admission and Registration at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) Dr Rabah Al-Najadah disclosed that 5,000 applicants in their various specialties have registered within the first four days for admission into various colleges and institutes for the second semester, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Dr Al-Najadah affirmed the process is going on smoothly via the official website, and those visiting the Admission Hall for enquiries have obtained positive response. She stated those who were allowed to submit the application by hand got it done without stress.
She declared that non-Kuwaiti applicants have ample opportunity to submit applications for the second semester, noting the Higher Committee for Admission has allotted 5 percent of the entire 7,200 available seats to them.
She reaffirmed the deanship is obliged to abide by the allocation of the committee and not go beyond it. She declared all applicants fulfilling stipulated conditions will be considered only if they pass the aptitude test for their various specialties. She emphasized the children of Kuwaiti women are treated as their Kuwaiti counterparts based on the decision of the committee.
