5,000 ap­pli­cants regis­ter in var­i­ous spe­cial­i­ties: PAAET

‘Process go­ing on smoothly’

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: Dean of Ad­mis­sion and Reg­is­tra­tion at the Pub­lic Au­thor­ity for Ap­plied Ed­u­ca­tion and Train­ing (PAAET) Dr Rabah Al-Na­jadah dis­closed that 5,000 ap­pli­cants in their var­i­ous spe­cial­ties have reg­is­tered within the first four days for ad­mis­sion into var­i­ous colleges and in­sti­tutes for the sec­ond se­mes­ter, re­ports Al-Jarida daily.

Dr Al-Na­jadah af­firmed the process is go­ing on smoothly via the of­fi­cial web­site, and those vis­it­ing the Ad­mis­sion Hall for enquiries have ob­tained pos­i­tive re­sponse. She stated those who were al­lowed to sub­mit the ap­pli­ca­tion by hand got it done with­out stress.

She de­clared that non-Kuwaiti ap­pli­cants have am­ple op­por­tu­nity to sub­mit ap­pli­ca­tions for the sec­ond se­mes­ter, not­ing the Higher Com­mit­tee for Ad­mis­sion has al­lot­ted 5 per­cent of the en­tire 7,200 avail­able seats to them.

She reaf­firmed the dean­ship is obliged to abide by the al­lo­ca­tion of the com­mit­tee and not go be­yond it. She de­clared all ap­pli­cants ful­fill­ing stip­u­lated con­di­tions will be considered only if they pass the ap­ti­tude test for their var­i­ous spe­cial­ties. She em­pha­sized the chil­dren of Kuwaiti women are treated as their Kuwaiti coun­ter­parts based on the de­ci­sion of the com­mit­tee.
