Cops do­ing drugs:

Two po­lice­men have been ar­rested by se­cu­ri­ty­men in two sep­a­rate in­ci­dents for pos­sess­ing and con­sum­ing drugs, re­ports Al-Rai daily. The daily added one of the sus­pects was ar­rested in Ah­madi and the other in Mubarak Al-Kabir gover­norate.

Po­lice also said one of them was car­ry­ing a firearm and am­mu­ni­tion.

The daily added, when pa­trol­men in Ah­madi saw a mo­torist vi­o­lat­ing traf­fic rules fol­lowed him and asked to see his ID. The lat­ter looked con­fused and pre­sented an of­fi­cial ID.

Po­lice searched the ve­hi­cle and found a gun, two mag­a­zines and 15 bul­lets. He has been handed over to the Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tions Depart­ment.

The other po­lice­man, work­ing for the Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tions Depart­ment was caught af­ter he was in­volved in a traf­fic ac­ci­dent. Po­lice seized from him drug con­sum­ing tools and re­ferred him to the Gen­eral Depart­ment for Drugs Con­trol.
