Sessions to be grilled:

Arab Times - - INTERNATIONAL -

US Attorney General Sessions is expected to be grilled hard in Congress Tuesday over what he knew about contacts between the Trump election campaign and Russia after new revelations from the Mueller investigation.

After Sessions repeatedly insisted in hearings this year that he was unaware of any contacts between the campaign and Moscow, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee will be pressing him over whether he lied in sworn testimony.

Evidence presented by independent prosecutor Robert Mueller in one of his first indictments last month showed that George Papadopoulos, a foreign policy advisor to the campaign under Sessions’ charge, sought to arrange a trip by then-candidate Donald Trump to Russia and told the campaign he was offered dirt on Hillary Clinton by Russian contacts.
