Direc­tor ex­presses hap­pi­ness over the suc­cess of ‘Hesa Pen’

KUWAIT CITY, June 14: Direc­tor Manal Ab­dal ex­pressed hap­pi­ness over the suc­cess of the se­ries, “With Hesa Pen,” shown on satel­lite tele­vi­sion chan­nels and so­cial me­dia plat­forms es­pe­cially YouTube and Twit­ter, re­ports Al-Seyas­sah daily.

In his in­ter­view with the daily, Ab­dal pointed out that the se­ries be­came the top trend­ing topic in var­i­ous so­cial net­work­ing sites.

He re­vealed that he re­ceived two Best Direc­tor awards for this artis­tic work, af­firm­ing he is hon­ored to be at the helm of the project and he is very proud of the out­come of such an ex­per­i­ment.

Mean­while, Kuwaiti ac­tress Hind Al-Baloushi has de­vised a new way of pro­mot­ing her play, “For Women Only’ (Le AlHaraim Faqt), by dis­tribut­ing free tick­ets to a cer­tain num­ber of view­ers as Eid gift (Ediya), re­ports Al-Shahid daily.

Al-Baloushi posted on her In­sta­gram ac­count a photo of the promo stat­ing, “To­day, I will be in the the­atre af­ter If­tar and my Eid gift will be tick­ets for the first four fam­i­lies.”

In the mean­time, artiste Weld Al-Deera will be part of the Emi­rati com­edy play, “Snaptchiya,” re­ports Al-Seyas­sah daily.

Hammed Fares wrote the script for the play which is un­der the di­rec­tion of Mubarak Mashi.

The play will be shown on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr at Al-Fu­jairah Theater in the Min­istry of Cul­ture Cen­ter in the United Arab Emi­rates.
