Spending Eid outside:
News in Brief
The Director-General of the DirectorateGeneral of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Yousef Al-Fouzan said 208,000 people from Kuwait will spend the Eid Al-Fitr holidays outside the country from June 15 to June 19, reports Al-Anba daily.
Al-Fouzan said these people are booked on 1,700 outbound flights to Turkey, Dubai, Cairo and London.
Al-Fouzan pointed out the DGCA is fully prepared to handle peak travel season this year by forming teams of volunteers who were recruited this year.
He added women have volunteered for the first time and this is to fill their leisure time and not because of shortage of employees.
