The Direc­tor-Gen­eral of the Direc­torateGen­eral of Civil Avi­a­tion (DGCA), Yousef Al-Fouzan said 208,000 peo­ple from Kuwait will spend the Eid Al-Fitr hol­i­days out­side the coun­try from June 15 to June 19, re­ports Al-Anba daily.

Al-Fouzan said th­ese peo­ple are booked on 1,700 out­bound flights to Turkey, Dubai, Cairo and Lon­don.

Al-Fouzan pointed out the DGCA is fully pre­pared to han­dle peak travel sea­son this year by form­ing teams of vol­un­teers who were re­cruited this year.

He added women have vol­un­teered for the first time and this is to fill their leisure time and not be­cause of short­age of em­ploy­ees.
