Theft cases solved:

The Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tions Depart­ment has solved three theft cases in­volv­ing Kuwaitis, re­ports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, two of the sus­pects are in po­lice cus­tody and the third is be­lieved to be out­side the coun­try.

The ar­rests came af­ter one of the vic­tims, a Kuwaiti, filed a theft case at a po­lice sta­tion ac­cus­ing some­one of break­ing into his shop in a com­mer­cial com­plex in Hawalli and steal­ing valu­ables, elec­tronic equip­ment and smart phones.

Ini­tially po­lice fol­low­ing in­tense in­ves­ti­ga­tions ar­rested one of the thieves, who ad­mit­ted to the charge and gave po­lice the names of his ac­com­plices.

Some of the loot was found hid­den in their homes and a part in an aban­doned house in Keifan.

The sus­pects said they used a ham­mer to break open the façade of the shop.
