Amir praises traits of late Sheikh Ab­dul­lah Mubarak Al-Sabah

KUWAIT: His High­ness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ah­mad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah praised the traits of the late Sheikh Ab­dul­lah Mubarak Al-Sabah that helped the small Gulf coun­try to de­velop in all fields dur­ing the 1940’s-1960’s. This re­mark was made by His High­ness the Amir in a let­ter ad­dressed to Dr Suad Mo­ham­mad Al-Sabah who has writ­ten a book on the late Sheikh: “His­tory of Ab­dul­lah Mubarak Al-Sabah in Pic­tures.” The book is pub­lished by Suad Al-Sabah Pub­lish­ing House. It tells the bi­og­ra­phy of Sheikh Ab­dul­lah Al-Mubarak in pic­tures. Sheikh Ab­dul­lah Mubarak Al-Sabah was the deputy of the late Amir Sheikh Ab­dul­lah Al-Salem, the 11th ruler of Kuwait. The late Sheikh con­trib­uted in de­vel­op­ing vi­tal sec­tors of the coun­try such as the Army, the Po­lice, Broadcasting and avi­a­tion. He re­signed from of­fice in 1962 and quit his po­lit­i­cal ca­reer. He died in 1991.
