Amir praises traits of late Sheikh Abdullah Mubarak Al-Sabah
KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah praised the traits of the late Sheikh Abdullah Mubarak Al-Sabah that helped the small Gulf country to develop in all fields during the 1940’s-1960’s. This remark was made by His Highness the Amir in a letter addressed to Dr Suad Mohammad Al-Sabah who has written a book on the late Sheikh: “History of Abdullah Mubarak Al-Sabah in Pictures.” The book is published by Suad Al-Sabah Publishing House. It tells the biography of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mubarak in pictures. Sheikh Abdullah Mubarak Al-Sabah was the deputy of the late Amir Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem, the 11th ruler of Kuwait. The late Sheikh contributed in developing vital sectors of the country such as the Army, the Police, Broadcasting and aviation. He resigned from office in 1962 and quit his political career. He died in 1991.
