Farm Land, Al-Zad Group spon­sor Horeca 2016

KUWAIT: Fol­low­ing the great suc­cess achieved in the three pre­vi­ous cy­cles of Horeca Kuwait, Farm Land Com­pany, the ex­clu­sive sup­plier of the Pres­i­dent brand in Kuwait, an­nounced its par­tic­i­pa­tion as a golden spon­sor in the Horeca 2016 ex­hi­bi­tion, to be or­ga­nized by Lead­ers Group in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Hos­pi­tal­ity Ser­vices Com­pany. The event takes place at Badriya Ball­room at Jumeirah Mes­si­lah Beach Ho­tel and Spa in the pe­riod of Jan­uary 18-19, 2016, un­der the pa­tron­age of Min­is­ter of In­for­ma­tion and State Min­is­ter of Youth Af­fairs Sheikh Sal­man Sabah AlSalem Al-Hu­moud Al-Sabah.

Farm Land also stressed that the Horeca Kuwait ex­hi­bi­tion was unique in con­tribut­ing to de­vel­op­ing hos­pi­tal­ity, ca­ter­ing and ho­tel re­quire­ments’ sec­tors, which are the com­pany’s ba­sic con­cern as one of the main providers of such ser­vices both lo­cally and re­gion­ally.

An­toine Obaid, Farm Land’s Gen­eral Man­ager, said that Horeca had been steadily mov­ing for­ward to­wards sci­en­tif­i­cally de­vel­op­ing hos­pi­tal­ity sec­tors with the help of a group of ex­perts and spe­cial­ists. He added that Farm Land was a unique trade mark launched in Kuwait and ex­panded to Gulf Co­op­er­a­tion Coun­cil (GCC) coun­tries and oth­ers world­wide, re­it­er­at­ing the com­pany’s keen­ness on qual­ity con­trol at its fac­to­ries be­fore prod­ucts reach con­sumers.

Obaid also stressed that Farm Land was keen on achiev­ing con­stant de­vel­op­ment to main­tain the trust of its cus­tomers, adding that Pres­i­dent Com­pany pro­vides in­ter­na­tional prod­ucts used in making the most de­li­cious dishes such as Galb­bani fresh Ital­ian Moz­zarella, the French Val­breso goat cheese, So­ci­ete, Maclarand and Lac­tel. Fi­nally, Obaid stressed that Farm Land would com­pete in the cook­ing com­pe­ti­tions held at Horeca 2016 as it rep­re­sents a great chal­lenge to serve new dishes that fully ob­serve nu­tri­tional stan­dards.

Separately, Al-Zad Trad­ing Group an­nounced its in­ten­tion to par­tic­i­pate in spon­sor­ing the event as a sil­ver spon­sor for the fourth year in a row, say­ing in press state­ment that the de­ci­sion comes in line with the ideal en­vi­ron­ment the ex­hi­bi­tion pro­vides in the line of ho­tel, hos­pi­tal­ity in­dus­try and ca­ter­ing equip­ment ser­vices. Al-Zad’s CEO Ab­dul­lah AlNafisi stressed that the Horeca ex­hi­bi­tion had proved the sig­nif­i­cance of spe­cial­ized ex­hi­bi­tions in pro­mot­ing trade ex­change amongst com­pa­nies, as well as high­light­ing this vi­tal line that is closely re­lated to the de­vel­op­ment and hous­ing projects as well as touris­tic plans Kuwait was cur­rently work­ing on ex­e­cut­ing. He added that the ex­hi­bi­tion would be the largest gath­er­ing of spe­cial­ized peo­ple un­der one roof.

Speak­ing about his group, Nafisi said that Al-Zad Group was es­tab­lished in 1994, and it later be­came one of Kuwait’s largest sup­pli­ers to the ho­tels, restau­rants and ca­ter­ing com­pa­nies. He added that it was es­tab­lished by a num­ber of ho­tel own­ers. He added that Al-Zad pro­vided high qual­ity food prod­ucts and is an ex­clu­sive agent of many in­ter­na­tional food brands.
