Shrimp stinks up car

KUWAIT: Sev­eral calls about a foul smell com­ing from a car in Far­waniya area led po­lice, de­tec­tives and crim­i­nal ev­i­dence to go and check the car. Po­lice first lifted fin­ger­prints from the car then opened the trunk, only to find a bag of shrimps that seems to have been left there for a few days.

Man stabbed, as­sailant ar­rest Ard­hiya po­lice ar­rested a cit­i­zen who stabbed an Asian and robbed him of KD 350 and his mo­bile phone. The ar­rest was made in Ri­hab area fol­low­ing leads by de­tec­tives in­ves­ti­ga­tions.

Po­lice in­sulted Two po­lice­men work­ing at the crim­i­nal de­tec­tives depart­ment, com­plained against two young men for in­sult­ing them while on duty. The two were in­ter­ro­gat­ing the young men, when they were sur­prised by their in­sults.

In­sults over traf­fic A dis­pute over the right of way be­tween a fe­male cit­i­zen and an­other man led to her in­sult the mo­torist. The cit­i­zen told Salmiya po­lice what hap­pened and filed a com­plaint.

Boot­leg­gers busted Po­lice­men ar­rested three men for sell­ing liquor in Fin­tas area. The trio had 81 bot­tles, and were sent to con­cerned au­thor­i­ties.

Fish­er­men hurt in fire Three fire­men suf­fered mi­nor in­juries while fight­ing a fire on the fifth and sixth floor of a Riqee area build­ing. Shuwaikh and Ard­hiya fire cen­ters re­sponded to the call and evac­u­ated the six floors build­ing, af­ter it spread to the fifth floor. Fire­men suc­ceeded in keep­ing the fire from spread­ing fur­ther be­fore putting it out.
