Ju­lai’ah ap­proved for camp­ing

KUWAIT: MP Faisal Al-Kan­dari said that a de­ci­sion was made to al­low li­cens­ing camps for cit­i­zens in the Ju­lai’ah Southern area. The law­maker ex­plained that of­fi­cials agreed to a re­quest he had pre­vi­ously made to re-open­ing the area for camp­ing.

Rail­way projects

Ac­cord­ing to a re­port made by the Ger­man- Mid­dle East Friend­ship Com­mit­tee, the to­tal cost of rail­way projects, in­clud­ing metro, tramway, fast trains and mono-trails, in Gulf Co­op­er­a­tion Coun­cil (GCC) coun­tries ac­cu­mu­lates up to $ 115 bil­lion.

The study said that Saudi Ara­bia came first in terms of spend­ing on th­ese projects with $ 45 bil­lion, fol­lowed by Qatar with $ 35 bil­lion, the United Arab Emi­rates and Kuwait with $ 15 bil­lion each and Bahrain with $ 10 bil­lion.
