NBK cel­e­brates new Shabab Train­ing Pro­gram grad­u­ates

KUWAIT: Na­tional Bank of Kuwait (NBK) cel­e­brated the grad­u­a­tion of the ninth batch of newly hired young Kuwaitis from the new Shabab Train­ing Pro­gram. The pro­gram is spe­cially de­signed to de­velop the skills of newly re­cruited diploma hold­ers as part of NBK’s strat­egy to at­tract and de­velop young Kuwaitis.

NBK or­ga­nized a spe­cial cer­e­mony for the grad­u­a­tion of the newly hired young Kuwaitis. The cer­e­mony was at­tended by Emad Ahmed Al Ablani, NBK Gen­eral Man­ager, Hu­man Re­sources Group, with se­nior lead­ers from the bank.

Shabab Pro­gram is the first ini­tia­tive of its kind in the pri­vate sec­tor in Kuwait de­signed to de­velop the skills of diploma hold­ers, and is part of NBK’s strat­egy to at­tract young Kuwaitis by offering them a range of ca­reer and pro­fes­sional de­vel­op­ment op­por­tu­ni­ties.

NBK Shabab Train­ing Pro­gram ex­tends over a pe­riod of two and a half months and is spe­cially tai­lored to pro­vide trainees with the­o­ret­i­cal and prac­ti­cal skills cov­er­ing the dif­fer­ent as­pects of the bank­ing in­dus­try.

NBK`s train­ing pro­grams in­clude NBK Acad­emy which aims to train and de­velop the pro­fes­sional skills of fresh grad­u­ates, the Sum­mer In­tern­ship Pro­gram for high school and col­lege stu­dents, in ad­di­tion to pro­fes­sional train­ing and de­vel­op­ment pro­grams es­pe­cially de­signed and pro­vided by world renowned in­sti­tu­tions to en­hance the skills of the Bank’s young lead­er­ship mem­bers.
