ABK successfully concludes NUKS-USA Conference sponsorship
KUWAIT: Al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) announced the successful conclusion of its sponsorship of the National Union for Kuwaiti Students (NUKS) - USA Annual Conference. The conference took place in San Diego from 26 to 29 November, 2015 and was attended by Othman Tawfiqi, AGM- Retail Banking and Ali Al-Baghli, Corporate Communications Manager, on behalf of ABK.
ABK reinforced its presence by participating in the job fair, where an ABK booth was set up to present graduating students with job opportunities within the Bank. Dr Bader Al-Essa, Minister of Education and Higher Education and Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s Ambassador to the United States of America visited the ABK booth to better understand the services and products offered by the Bank.
The Bank also held a competition during the job fair, where students were asked to answer a number of questions relating to ABK. The three winning students each received a $300 reward.
ABK has supported NUKS-USA since 2008. ABK will continue to support national talent and the Kuwaitization labor law through a broad range of sponsorships and collaborative activities that support the development and employment of Kuwaiti nationals.
