Tal­a­bat pro­vides dig­i­tal in­sight at ArabNet Kuwait

Tal­a­bat, Kuwait’s lead­ing food or­der­ing ser­vice and spon­sor of ArabNet Kuwait 2016, took part in an in­sight­ful panel dis­cus­sion on 5th Oc­to­ber at the Ar­raya Ball­room, Court­yard by Mar­riot Ho­tel in Kuwait City. Tal­a­bat’s Chief Mar­ket­ing Of­fi­cer, Dikdyuti Sen, was joined by rep­re­sen­ta­tives from Google and OMD to dis­cuss the im­por­tance of un­der­stand­ing and uti­liz­ing data in ad­ver­tis­ing and ex­plor­ing how mar­keters can har­ness the power of data to bet­ter reach cus­tomers and tai­lor their ser­vices. “The po­ten­tial of data is in the re­la­tion­ships it can re­veal; mea­sur­ing, an­a­lyz­ing and un­der­stand­ing the in­ter­ac­tions that users have across mul­ti­ple touch points in their day-to-day be­hav­ior.

“Today’s dis­cus­sion ex­plored the chal­lenges we face in har­ness­ing data and mak­ing it rel­e­vant to our or­ga­ni­za­tions and cus­tomers.” Said Tal­a­bat’s Chief Mar­ket­ing Of­fi­cer, Dikdyuti Sen. With ArabNet es­ti­mat­ing that the size of data gen­er­ated on­line hit 667 ex­abytes (10^18) in 2014 alone, the panel, which was moder­ated by Fawz­iRa­hal, Founder and Man­ag­ing Part­ner of Ga­mutt, also dis­cussed the rapid surge in big data tech­nolo­gies al­low­ing for re­al­time op­ti­mi­sa­tion, gran­u­lar au­di­ence tar­get­ing, and im­proved reach and ef­fi­ciency.

Tal­a­bat spon­sored ArabNet Kuwait, the first event of its kind where over 500 at­ten­dees from across the world were able to con­nect, net­work and learn, and hear from var­i­ous in­dus­try ex­perts in 35 pan­els and talks geared to­wards the re­gion’s dig­i­tal fu­ture.
