Kala (Art) Kuwait to hold paint­ing com­pe­ti­tion for chil­dren

Kala(Art) Kuwait, a lead­ing Pro­gres­sive Art and So­cio Cul­tural Or­ga­ni­za­tion among the In­dian Com­mu­nity in Kuwait has sched­uled to con­duct their pres­ti­gious pro­gram ti­tled as “NIRAM-2016” Paint­ing Com­pe­ti­tion, on the oc­ca­sion of Chil­dren’s Day cel­e­bra­tion by mark­ing the birth day of the First Prime Min­is­ter of In­dia, Pan­dit Jawa­har­lal Nehru, on Fri­day, 11th Novem­ber 2016 at In­dian Com­mu­nity School, Khai­tan, at 2 pm.

The pro­gram is ti­tled as “NIRAM-2016” con­sists of Paint­ing Com­pe­ti­tion for the In­dian School Stu­dents and a “Marathon Open Can­vas Paint­ing” for the other at­ten­dees in­clud­ing par­ents, vis­i­tors and Guests. The Paint­ing Com­pe­ti­tion will be con­ducted in four dif­fer­ent age groups. Group ‘A” from LKG to 1st Stan­dard. Group ‘B” from 2nd to 4th Stan­dard. Group ‘C” from 5th to 8th Stan­dard. Group ‘D” from 9th to12th Stan­dard. The me­dia for Group ‘A” and ‘B” will be Crayons while Group C and D are wa­ter col­ors. Crayons and wa­ter col­ors shall be brought by the par­tic­i­pants. Stamped draw­ing papers will be supplied by the or­ga­niz­ers. Clay mod­el­ing com­pe­ti­tion also will be con­ducted for 7th to 11th stan­dard stu­dents. Clay will be pro­vided by the or­ga­niz­ers. The marathon open can­vas paint­ing is con­duct­ing in a view to dis­play ev­ery­one’s views and tal­ents through their vivid cre­ations.

Be­sides the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and merit prizes, Ten per­cent of the par­tic­i­pants will be awarded with con­so­la­tion prizes. The win­ners are li­able to prove their age group with rel­e­vant doc­u­ments in case the Or­ga­niz­ers re­quested so. Par­ents also have the op­por­tu­nity to win prizes for Open Can­vas Paint­ing.
