SACGC honors participants in ‘Math is life’ competition
Sabah Al-Ahmed Center for Giftedness & Creativity (SAGCG), a KFAS affiliate, recently honored the jury panel, organizers and the schools that hosted the 2nd ‘Math is Life’ competition. The center also honored the committee responsible for introducing the robot curriculum to MOE and the organizing committee of the 3rd National Robot Competition.
In this regard, SAGCG’s strategies and planning first officer, Riyadh Al-Sharaf hailed cooperation with MOE through the participating schools and stressed that this would help create more interest in scientific subjects such as math and computer studies amongst students.
On his part, SAGCG’s math club advisor, Ahmed AlEnezi announced launching a first of a kind competition for the best teaching aid and said participation would be open for a month starting November 6th for all Kuwaiti and expat math teachers. He also noted that valuable financial prizes would be given to the first winners in appreciation of their role in making math easier for students.
