KFH spon­sors Youth Ini­tia­tives Award

Min­is­ter hails KFH’s role in sup­port­ing youth ini­tia­tives

Min­is­ter of In­for­ma­tion and Min­is­ter of State for Youth Af­fairs Sheikh Sal­man Al-Sabah hailed the in­stru­men­tal role of Kuwait Fi­nance House (KFH) in sup­port­ing the youth ini­tia­tives, prais­ing KFH’s spon­sor­ship of the Youth Ini­tia­tives Award launched by Arab Me­dia Fo­rum (AMF) in col­lab­o­ra­tion with a num­ber of pub­lic and pri­vate en­ti­ties.

The Min­is­ter added that the spon­sor­ship em­anates from KFH’s en­deav­ors to sup­port the vol­un­tary and hu­man­i­tar­ian ac­tiv­i­ties of the youth and the keen­ness to sup­port youth pro­jects. The AMF wit­nessed the recog­ni­tion of sev­eral win­ners from across the Arab world. The award aims to eval­u­ate the vol­un­tary ac­tiv­i­ties in var­i­ous ar­eas, where the steer­ing com­mit­tee for the award re­ceived nearly 640 youth ini­tia­tives from var­i­ous Arab coun­tries.

More­over, Faisal Al-Su­rayye, Spon­sor­ships and CSR Team Leader at KFH par­tic­i­pated in a panel ses­sion on the side­lines of the AMF themed “Vol­un­tary Work... Chal­lenges and As­pi­ra­tions” where he show­cased part of the so­cial ac­tiv­i­ties of KFH’s vol­un­tary team.

He un­der­lined the in­stru­men­tal role of KFH in the field of cor­po­rate so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity, not­ing that the so­cial val­ues are strong pil­lars and solid in the Kuwait so­ci­ety, in­di­cat­ing KFH’s com­mit­ment to­wards mo­ti­vat­ing the youth and sup­port­ing them for their ben­e­fit and the ben­e­fit of the so­ci­ety.

Dur­ing the clos­ing cer­e­mony, Sheikh Sal­man Al-Sabah hon­ored KFH rep­re­sented by Ex­ec­u­tive Man­ager Group Pub­lic Re­la­tions Yousef Ab­dul­lah Al-Ruwaieh. Mean­while, AMF Sec­re­tary-Gen­eral Madhi Al-Khamees ap­plauded KFH’s par­tic­i­pa­tion in the AMF.
