The Indian Community School (Senior) Kuwait organized ‘ART FEST-PARADIGM 2016’ on 19th and 20th of October 2016. As the aim of education is the all round development of an individual including skills in Art, Music and Literature in addition to Academics, Paradigm 2016 was an ideal platform of synchronization of intelligence and talent. Undoubtedly, ‘Paradigm 2016’ was a magnificent opportunity for the students of The Indian Community School (Senior) Kuwait to showcase their multifarious talents.

The inaugural function was held at the ICSK Senior school auditorium on 19th October 2016. Brigadier General Md Nasimul Gani was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Dr V Binumon, Principal & Senior Administrator ICSK, Kuwait welcomed the gathering. The honorary members of the ICSK Board of Trustees graced the occasion with their presence. The deputy convener of ‘PARADIGM2016’, Dr Sam T Kuruvila delivered the introductory speech and Joint Convener Sunish Mathew extended the gratitude to the esteemed guests in his vote of thanks.

The competitions were conducted under category 4 & 5 respectively on stage 1 and 2 for Secondary and Senior secondary students. It was highly commendable that 70% of students participated in a kaleidoscope of 83 events, both off-stage and on-stage. A huge crowd witnessed the exhilarating performance of students that blended ancient and modern expressions, classical and popular elements from both the Indian and the Western cultures. ‘Paradigm 2016’ fully served its objective to develop the curricular and co-curricular aspects of an individual’s personality.

Master Abel Chris secured maximum point individually under category 4 and won the title of KALAPRATHIBHA and Miss Shilpa Shaji Mohan was given the certificate and Trophy for the KALATHILAK for the same category. Under category 5 Master Muhammad Basil secured maximum points individually and won the title of KALAPRATHIBHA and Miss Fatema as KALATHILAK respectively. The chief guest of the valedictory function Shri Shubashis Goldar, Deputy Chief of Mission & Chief Public Information Officer of the Indian Embassy, gave away the prizes to the winners.
