No ex­cep­tions to plate num­ber re­moval: MoI

KUWAIT: MoI’s Re­la­tions and Se­cu­rity Me­dia Depart­ment has stressed that Ar­ti­cle 42 of the Traf­fic Law, which au­tho­rized the traf­fic di­rec­tor to with­draw driver’s li­censes and/or regis­tra­tion and li­cense plates for a max­i­mum of four months, would re­main in ef­fect with­out any ex­cep­tions. Mean­while, the depart­ment said that MoI Un­der­sec­re­tary Lt Gen­eral Suleiman Al-Fa­had has in­structed traf­fic po­lice to con­sider some hu­mane fac­tors on putting the law into ef­fect -es­pe­cially when deal­ing with univer­sity and PAATE stu­dents and load­ing and un­load­ing out­side some com­mer­cial com­plexes.
