Ooredoo meets with Kuwait Blind As­so­ci­a­tion

KUWAIT: Ooredoo, Kuwait’s fastest net­work for 2016, em­pha­sized its sup­port for the Kuwait Blind As­so­ci­a­tion in a meet­ing at­tended by rep­re­sen­ta­tives from as­so­ci­a­tion, which in­cluded the Pres­i­dent of the Kuwait Blind As­so­ci­aiton, Fayez Al-Azmi, Trea­surer of the Kuwait Blind As­so­ci­a­tion, Man­sour Al-Anezi, and Pub­lic Re­la­tions Man­ager of the Kuwait Blind As­so­ci­a­tion, Adel Al-Rashidi.

A num­ber of is­sues were dis­cussed dur­ing the meet­ing which in­cludes sup­port­ing the seg­ments of so­ci­ety that lack ser­vices as well as Ooredoo’s con­tin­u­ous sup­port in mak­ing sure that the needs of all so­ci­ety’s seg­ments are met. A num­ber of so­lu­tions were dis­cussed to en­sure that all ob­sta­cles fac­ing hand­i­capped cus­tomers are re­moved. This sup­port stems from the be­lief of Ooredoo as a com­mu­ni­ty­based com­pany in ful­fill­ing the wants of its clients and its be­lief in en­rich­ing the com­mu­nity and help­ing it thrive.

Com­ment­ing on the meet­ing, Mi­j­bil Alay­oub, Se­nior Di­rec­tor of Cor­po­rate Com­mu­ni­ca­tions at Ooredoo Kuwait said: “We are con­tin­u­ously striv­ing to find so­lu­tions to serve our hand­i­capped cus­tomers and to re­move all ob­sta­cles in or­der to ease their ex­pe­ri­ence. We thank the Kuwait Blind As­so­ci­a­tion for their quick re­sponse, and this ini­tia­tive re­flects the com­mit­ment of both sides to­wards this im­por­tant seg­ment of so­ci­ety.”

It is worth men­tion­ing that Ooredoo re­cently opened Ma­rina Mall’s branch which is Ooredoo’s first hand­i­capped­friendly branch, tak­ing into con­sid­er­a­tion the en­tire cus­tomer ex­pe­ri­ence of hand­i­capped cus­tomers, with an ac­ces­si­ble en­trance and fa­cil­i­ties placed spe­cially to meet their needs.
