Parliament building: Witness to Kuwait’s democracy
KUWAIT: The Kuwaiti National Assembly (parliament) building is a civilized, and democratic landmark, that has borne witness to the key events of Kuwait’s democracy since independence. The parliament plays a major role in boosting Kuwait’s ties with the Arab and foreign countries, amid the challenges dictated by the regional and international developments. The Assembly that consists of 50 members, elected by the people, fulfills its due legislative role, enacting laws to push a head the wheel of development in Kuwait, as well as working on boosting joint Arab action through removing barriers and obstacles to serve the interests of the Arab peoples.
