Daughter planning wedding

Kuwait Times - - LIFESTYLE -

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s daughter started planning her wedding when she was four. The ‘America’s Got Talent’ host and the superstar singer - who divorced earlier this year after eight years of marriage - have fiveyear-old twins Moroccan and Monroe together, and he was shocked when their daughter started talking about boys and saying she wants to walk down the aisle one day. He said: “My daughter’s a lot like her mom - loves to sing, loves to dress up. It’s a lot of fun. “She definitely likes boys, and I’m trying to sway her in a whole different direction. Like, last year she told me she was getting married. I was like, ‘What!? You’re four!’ “But Moroccan is yet to think about girls as he appears to be concentrating on his DJ career after landing a gig at a recent Halloween party the family attended. Nick added: “My son is the biggest ham in the world and loves DJ-ing. He DJ-ed the Halloween party, rocking the mic. It was crazy. “This party was the first time I was like, ‘Man, do your thing.’ And so he was scratching and talking on the mic. And he’s seen me do it so much that he’s got the hang of it. So I think he’s gonna be taking daddy’s job real soon.” Despite Nick and Mariah separating, the pair are still close for the sake of their kids, and he admits the former couple intend to keep it that way. Speaking about spending holidays together, he added to PEOPLE: “I think that’ll be something that we’ll always embrace as a family and as our families expand. “And continue to make sure that we keep everyone focused on love.” Mariah recently split from her fiance James Packer.

Lily Aldridge feels more “put together” when she wears perfume. The 30year-old model - who was announced as the face of Michael Kors’ latest fragrance campaign Wonderlust earlier this year - has admitted fragrance is a vital part of her everyday beauty regime because it completes her outfit and leaves her feeling “luxurious”. Speaking to Hello! magazine about her beauty regime, the brunette beauty said: “Yes [ I wear perfume every day]. It’s such an important step in my everyday beauty routine. It completes any look and feels luxurious. “Perfume always makes me feel put together after a long day of travelling.” And the catwalk icon - who has starred in campaigns for luxury brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Coach an DJ Crew - has revealed she “sometimes” sprays her hair with the scent for an “extra statement”. She explained: “I tend to wear it on my wrists, but I sometimes spritz it in my hair for an extra statement.” Lily has revealed the smell of the “ocean mist” makes her feel nostalgic because it reminds her of her childhood home in California. She said: “I grew up in California, so my first scent memory is the smell of the ocean mist. No matter where I go, that smell always makes me feel at home.” Meanwhile Lily - who has four-year-old daughter Dixie with her husband Caleb Followill - has admitted she would be “proud” of her child if she wanted to follow in her footsteps as a model, although her partner and Kings of Leon front man isn’t as keen on the idea. Speaking previously about her child’s future, she said: “I’ll support whatever she wants to do! “I don’t think my husband would want her anywhere near the runway. But I would be proud of her no matter what she does.”

Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter was the inspiration behind her first fragrance capsule. The 44-year-old actress launched her debut scent Edition 01 fragrance on her popular e-store Goop last week, and the star has revealed she wanted to create a product that wouldn’t be “harmful” for her 12-yearold child and other young girls who are experimenting with beauty products. Speaking to PEOPLE about the cosmetic product, which is the first perfume in a series of scents inspired by the four seasons, the ‘Iron Man 3’ star said: “We want to create fragrance that isn’t harmful, especially to our daughters who are growing and developing and I think we really all deserve that. “That’s what we’re trying to do. “This is an area where I’m still in education mode, but she’s very into make-up, YouTube tutorials, and conventional make-up. That is one of the reasons why I want to do this even more.” Although Gwyneth - who also has 10-year-old son Moses with her former partner Chris Martin - has admitted she is still learning about beauty, she is also trying to “educate” her brood about different skincare treatments and items. She explained: “My daughter loves the Pink body fragrance. She’s like, ‘I want the Pink body mist.’ And I let her do her thing! Because I can just educate her. “My son is more like, ‘Is this a clean body wash?’ He’s so funny.” And the blonde beauty has revealed she loves different fragrances because they are “transportive and powerful”. She said: “I am such a fragrance girl. I love [fragrance] so much, and I think it’s so transportive and powerful and it can take you back in time, it can take you forward in time to dreams of your life, and I just think it’s amazing.”
