Di­a­betes Pro­gram ends up with smil­ing faces NSH’s ef­forts lauded by KNPC

The healthy unit of UNO, World Health Or­ga­ni­za­tion’s World Di­a­betic Day cel­e­brated by NSH at the KNPC New Re­fin­ery Project (NRP) at Al Zour ends up with smil­ing faces from the labour com­mu­nity, and was well ap­pre­ci­ated by the KNPC Of­fi­cials for the ef­forts taken by NSH in rais­ing aware­ness on how to bet­ter man­age and pre­vent the disease.

The multi­na­tional busi­ness con­glom­er­ate and the sin­gle largest em­ployer in the Mid­dle East, NSH joined in cel­e­brat­ing the World Di­a­betes Day world­wide by all mem­ber states of UN and other or­ga­ni­za­tions and as­so­ci­a­tions that de­velop a range of ac­tiv­i­ties for the global aware­ness cam­paign aimed at in­creas­ing the un­der­stand­ing of di­a­betes risk fac­tors, symp­toms and preven­tion.

Dr Venkatesh­war­alu ex­plained the ways and means on how to pre­vent di­a­betic. Project Man­ager Dileep Ku­mar Raroth, HSE Of­fi­cials from TSHJ Hakan Ay­ata, Subhi Dadashov and So­masekhat Patil gave their in­puts.

KNPC of­fi­cials Mo­ham­mad and Parak hon­ored the win­ners of the con­test held in con­nec­tion with the di­a­betic. NSH Cor­po­rate HR Man­ager Pani J An­thony mod­er­ated the ses­sion and con­ducted the com­pe­ti­tions. The ar­range­ments were done by NSH team com­pris­ing safety man­ager Max­imo Perez, Ad­min Man­ager Anan­dan Pil­lai, Hari, Saju.

As­so­ci­a­tion of Mus­lim Pro­fes­sion­als, Kuwait (AMP) has con­ducted yet an­other Skill Devel­op­ment Lec­ture (SDL) at Salmiya In­dian Model School (SIMS) on 29th Oct 2016. The topic was “Lead­er­ship Skills and Con­fi­dence Build­ing” and the SDL was de­liv­ered by renowned mo­ti­va­tional speaker Ab­dul­lah Has­san Thakur (CEO, Dhow Cap­i­tal, Al Sa­gar Group). The event was at­tended by Pro­fes­sion­als, Par­ents and School Chil­dren. AMP, Kuwait Chap­ter, has ear­lier con­ducted SDLs on “Re­sume writ­ing and Mock In­ter­views” and “MS Ex­cel - Pivot ta­bles”. AMP is founded by a group of cit­i­zens in In­dia and reg­is­tered as a wel­fare or­ga­ni­za­tion work­ing for the over­all devel­op­ment of the In­dian So­ci­ety at large.
