Al Bab­tain cel­e­brates win­ners of af­ter­sales con­test

Ab­dul­mohsen Ab­du­laziz Al Bab­tain Co (AABC), the sole agent and dis­trib­u­tor of Nis­san in the State of Kuwait, held the Nis­san Af­ter­sales con­tests to select the top tech­ni­cian, ser­vice ad­vi­sor and parts ex­ec­u­tive who will rep­re­sent Kuwait at the Re­gional Con­tests in Dubai in 2017.

An elab­o­rate event was or­ga­nized at the Nis­san Ser­vice Cen­tre, Shuwaikh; to test the skills of the Nis­san Ser­vice Ad­vi­sors; Ser­vice Tech­ni­cians and Parts Ex­ec­u­tives in three dif­fer­ent cat­e­gories: Nis­san Ser­vice Ad­vi­sor Ex­cel­lence Com­pe­tency Award (NISAC); Nis­san Ser­vice Tech­ni­cian Ex­cel­lence Com­pe­tency Award (NISTEC) and Nis­san Parts Ex­ec­u­tive Ex­cel­lence Com­pe­tency Award (NIPEC).

Top three win­ners from each cat­e­gory were selected and awarded cer­tifi­cates, tro­phies and prizes by AABC top man­age­ment. Gold medal win­ners for the Year 2016 are: Majo Thomas (NISAC); Ramesh Ra­jan (NISTEC) and Jethin Jose (NIPEC).

More than 300 at­ten­dees in­clud­ing Al Bab­tain Group top man­age­ment, se­nior man­age­ment and staff were present to wit­ness and mo­ti­vate the con­tes­tants, along with rep­re­sen­ta­tives from busi­ness part­ners like TO­TAL Lubri­cants & Stan­dox Paints. Nis­san Gulf FZE (NGF) Af­ter­sales Di­rec­tor Mr. David Graves and his team as well as Nis­san Mid­dle East FZCo. (NMEF) Af­ter­sales Train­ing Man­ager Gil­bert Gali­nato graced the event with their pres­ence.

“Step Up -Raise the bar” was the theme of this year’s af­ter­sales con­tests. The fi­nal con­test held on 21st Oc­to­ber was a cul­mi­na­tion of the writ­ten test rounds at­tended by over 225 staff, prac­ti­cals and role play ses­sions held over a month. Mo­hammed Sha­l­aby, COO Al Bab­tain Group said in his open­ing address, “Ab­dul­mohsen Ab­du­laziz Al Bab­tain co is com­mit­ted to de­velop staff skills that lead to an en­hanced cus­tomer ex­pe­ri­ence “Our group is in­vest­ing heav­ily on de­vel­op­ing its learn­ing and de­vel­op­ment ca­pa­bil­i­ties in ad­di­tion to the op­er­a­tional in­fra­struc­ture. Th­ese con­tests are a good op­por­tu­nity to chal­lenges the staff to de­velop their skills in a com­pet­i­tive en­vi­ron­ment.”

Sha­l­aby added, “Con­grat­u­la­tions to the team spirit and en­thu­si­asm of the af­ter­sales team” Al Bab­tain Group HR & Ad­min­is­tra­tion GM Ab­dul­mohsen Ab­du­laziz Al Bab­tain said “Hu­man cap­i­tal is the most im­por­tant re­source of any or­ga­ni­za­tion as it has a di­rect and sig­nif­i­cant im­pact on the or­ga­ni­za­tion’s suc­cess. That is why Al Bab­tain is com­mit­ted to con­tin­u­ous staff train­ing and de­vel­op­ment pro­grams that in­crease the tech­ni­cal know-how and com­pe­tency of its work­force. NGF & NMEF rep­re­sen­ta­tives also ex­pressed their ap­pre­ci­a­tion of the en­thu­si­as­tic par­tic­i­pa­tion which re­ally was a big “Step Up” in this year’s Nis­san con­tests.
