Foreign Minister meets Palestinian PM
MARRAKECH: Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met Palestinian Prime Minister Dr Rami Alhamdallah on the sidelines of the 22nd Conference of the Parties (COP 22) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), held in Marrakech, Morocco between Nov 7-18.
They discussed the developments of the situation in the Palestinian territories, as well as Arab and international efforts to spread permanent and comprehensive peace in the Middle East. They also tackled issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of Oil Anas Al-Saleh, Director of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s office Ahmad Al-Fahad, Amiri Diwan Advisor Mohammad Abulassan and Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah. Also attended the meeting were head of economic and political affairs at the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Fawaz Al-Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah and Kuwait’s Ambassador to Morocco Abdullatif Al-Yehya.
